Our hope is not in government but in God.  We’re not in control.  God our creator is in control of all things on this earth and in Heaven. We live by the mercy and grace of God. We’re not our own, we have been bought with a price and that is through the blood of our Lord the messiah.  Let us serve with all obedience.  Let us pray, dear Lord, make our day a special experience in praise and worship.  My day starts with a reminder of health. Early exercise helps the body to rejuvenate and prepare for the food to be consumed, digested and utilized.  If we can survive the breakfast cereal, which I never consume, we may just feel so good that we can run and jump and shout the victory making our day and everyone along the way.  Let us read the Bible and meditate on the word of God to feed our souls.  My health hint is for potential diabetics who think they are getting by with eating handy foods loaded with sugar, those who believe those labels that say low-fat and low sugar such as jellies and jams and leave the body depleted for the day while demanding double food to combat hunger.  Let us awaken physically and spiritually to the facts of life and determine for ourselves what we should eat and drink.

Save us dear Lord from foods that kill and may we recognize foods that heal.

It is said that diabetics age much faster than normal.  It is said that a round belly is a precondition for diabetics.  A special program of Christian television by Dr. Ghen reveals many ways to avoid the results of diabetes. Did you know the average person has 60,000 thoughts in one day?  Are we burning our fuel for God or Satan? Can we record all of our thoughts in the pages of history and if we did would those thoughts bless someone or millions? Where do our priorities lie? I feel that I am swimming upstream and that everyone else in the world is floating downstream.

We are strangers in the land.  The landlords will learn after it’s too late for them to repent.  They have stolen the land and through greed have charged exorbitant prices to make the poor pay high rates for board.  There will be a day when all this will pass away and God will rule His earth with His people. The servants of God will be the masters. Let us live in the will of God.

Dr. Mitchell Ghen, M.D. who has an office in Landrum, S.C. and a live TV show on Channel 16 Christian television once a month at 7 PM on Wednesday evening, midmonth, has stated many facts about diabetes.  The following is a summary of what Dr. Ghen said on his program April 12. The potbelly is a precondition for diabetes and sugar, white flower, NutraSweet and hydrogenated oils all aggravate a diabetic’s condition and are bad for health in general.  Exercise daily and eat largely vegetables.  A meat diet is bad for the health and contrary to good health in speaking of the Atkins book on meat gluttony. I say white rice is also bad. White potatoes without peals also.

Diabetics can be always tired, hungry and thirsty.  Eighty percent of diabetics have too much insulin. Insulin dependent is in fewer numbers. Diabetes is blamed for cataracts, heart trouble and strokes.  Avoid at all cost.
